Default Clandon park classic car show

CLANDON PARK CLASSIC CAR SHOW, GUILDFORD, SURREY.

It has been agreed that this and future Clandon Park Classic Meetings will be dedicated to `Alanjay` who passed away recently therefore all future Clandon meeting will be known as " ALANJAY`S ANNUAL MAMORIAL MEETING"

As I put to members a couple of meetings ago, we have been offered a pitch at this years Clandon Park Classic Car Show on Sunday 9th July 2017, the show is in order of the Macmillan Cancer Nursing Ass. Although in theory our cars are not classics they are future classics and the organisers of the show have accepted we are the proud owners of a British Made Prestigious vehicle and would be pleased if we can attend, I would like to see a mixture of 6 x 75`s and Zt`s, if not 6 then a minimum of 4.

Before I commit there are a few criteria points I would like you to commit too, they are;

Would you be prepared to exhibit your car?

Would you be prepared to commit your self to spending the day at the show?

The show is open for visitors from 10am until 4.30pm, I would like to arrive at 9am to set up the pitch, once we have set up the pitch you will be committed to staying all the time the show is open, I would like to submit our application as early as possible to ensure we get a good pitch.

We will be attending under the club banner, as it will not be a official meeting the club insurance system will not apply.

ARE YOU PROPARED TO COMMIT? IF SO PLEASE INDICATE BY INFORMING ME ON THIS THREAD THEN I WILL PUT YOUR NAME DOWN

WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A COUPLE OF Zt`s TO JOINS US-COME ON YOU MG Zt OWNERS PUT YOUR NAME DOWN

Let me be the first to commit;
John Howard..............BRG Saloon Mk 1
Dawn & Jules.............Silver Limo Saloon1
Lilian & Derek............Black Perl Face Lift Tourer
Teflon...................... Lagoon Saloon PF03 ZTV
Flying Banana............ZT 1.8t. & MG ZTT 395

All going well we have our 6 front row cars, I am emailing the organisers to let us have more spaces for the cars that wish to attend.

John,

Please add me to the list. I will drop my car round to the Rev a few days before the show. He has much more expertise and enthusiasm for cleaning these cars. Keeps him young as well!!!
