Rick I think this is the problem with mine... where are the switches you speak of?
press console switch, it lights up. Press set on the wheel and the dash light lights up. CC doesn't engage however and I start slowing down when I take my foot off.

Hi mate, that sounds like a different issue. if your clutch or brake pedal switch was popped out, no dash light would light up on your instrument cluster when you engage your cruise control.

Does this happen on a diesel by any chance?

I'm wondering if someone may have retrofitted cruise control to your car but not activated it using a t4.

Try it in this order: turn on master switch, press RES on steering wheel controls and then press set+ on steering wheel controls.

I got this in the wrong order...
It was Master switch->Res -> (dash light on) -> set+ -> foot off [slow down]

that sounds like your cruise control hasn't been enabled. Before I had mine enabled, if I pressed the master switch and then RES the cruise control light used to light up on the dash, and then pressing Set+ would engage the CC. When fully enabled, all you have to do is press the master switch and then SET+ and it'll engage. be worth checking on the t4 when you're having your key done
