Default Mg 6 withdrawn from sale

Mg have announced today that they will no longer sell the mg 6 in the uk
Looks like they are replacing it with the gs suv that officially went on sale this week
They only managed to sell 648 in the last year, might be worth getting one to hold on to as the face lifted ones will be rare!
Shame it didn't sell I thought it was quite good.

A little more info mg have decided the cost of making the diesel eu6 compliant wasn't worth the investment
Also means the new gs will probably not be available with a diesel either!

Looks like we won't be seeing the MG6 in the British Touring Car Championship next year then

I better make the most of it at Knockhill in a couple of months time and Brands Hatch for the season finale

You could always get one of your own.

I dare say this will lead to some spectacular discounts on the MG6 cars on dealers forecourts because if they're not registered before the end of August (that's when the new CAT 6 emissions start) they wont be allowed to sell them in the UK.

Makes you wonder why they don't just shove the 1.8 back in it that they started with
