Centre console swap
Will a 75 Contemporary or ZT automatic transmission tunnel/centre console fit in a Rover 75 v8 as a replacement? (I prefer the dark side). Or were they a special order?

They will fit, you just have to remove a bit of console in front of the gear lever (And replace the metal strap that is on the V8 console)

A conversion project to consider when (hopefully) I buy. Unless somebody has a Contemporary they no longer require?

Yup as above, they were factory hacked and braced with the metal bar and rivets...
Well, saying that I am sure most of them were riveted, but anything goes on the 260's! |
