Default Caravan Storage - West Midlands

Hi all.

Total newbie at this caravaning lark, thinking about purchase of a starter van, but storage is proving a bit of an issue.

Anyone use/know of a cheap storage option in the West Midlands area.

Thanks for any advise.

Cheers

Dave

As a starting point and to gauge some of the prices and set ups near to you....

www.yell.com

And in the search.....Caravan storage. West Midlands.

That brings up quite a few in your surrounding area to give a quick phone call to.

Can also look at caravanandcamping club and the caravan club websites. Have a read through the forums there. And local papers may have something.

I know some people have their caravans at their home address. Personally, I think that sends out a message that when the caravans not there, the house is empty, if you know what I mean. Plenty of sites about but shop around.

Some caravan dealerships do storage too, speak to local farmers, see if they would be interested in letting you store there. You should expect to pay between 250-400 per year to storecat a proper secure storage site, whereas a local farmer will charge 150-250 a year.
