Personal Line Tourer boot query.
Bought a 51-plate CDT Tourer today which was about to be crushed complete (I know, I really must stop doing this... )
Anyway, one of the reasons for grabbing it was that it has a Neptune blue personal line interior, which as we know comes with Sandstone highlights - lower dash, console, pillar trims, etc. However, all the boot is Ash grey and looks original. Does anyone know if this is correct ?? Cheers

I believe there was a single Tourer boot factory finished in Aubergine, but I was thinking more that the floor panel, side trims and seat back today should have been Sandstone (rather than Ash) so that the colours matched right throughout the length of the car ?

Remember when we saw your tourer being built at longbridge Paul, you said to the line manager that you would have liked a grey boot instead of sandstone , and he replied that if you had asked earlier in the build he could have changed it

I do remember this, it just seems unusual to me that the same colourway isn't continued throughout the car.

Same here with Neptune tourer interior - boot space is grey. I ordered the car brand new and there was no option to choose a colour for the boot.

Ok, thanks guys, so looks like that is the correct colour then I've only ever seen one or two personal line Tourers so not really had much chance to look ! Still wonder why Rover didn't go with Sandstone though

My Neptune Blue PL Tourer has the ash grey load space too. One day I plan to change it to Sandstone from my other Tourer though.

At least one Aubergine tourer load area was made but ash grey was the standard for Personal line tourers.
