Stop the roll
I like my 1.8T 75s soft suspension but would like a bit less roll around corners. Everything seems in good order with no clonking or other misbehaviour. I have recently replaced the front dampers and drop links with OEM parts. Is there a mod that would increase stability? Has anyone tried fitting a stronger front anti roll bar, eg from a 2.5 or an MGZT? Would I need to fit a matching rear roll bar as well?

What size wheels are you running on?
If they're 15"s, how about going to 16" or 17"? You don't really wnat to lose the comfort of the 75 & if you opt for stiffer springs, this may happen. |

It's not a roll, it's the Rover waft! I love it myself!

Ahh thinner roll bar, I found this out when ordering the wrong bushes once.
No harm in a thicker rollbar... give it a go! |

The 1.8T rolls a lot more than my V6 tourer and the V8.
It is excessive and is definitely a softer spring/damping on this particular car. I would look at the springs as a first step.

Can't say I agree with Kaiser. If you like the 75 comfortable ride but not the roll, on your min 12 year old car, the first thing I'd change would be the ARB bushes. Changing mine made a difference. Still nowhere near german car "non roll" standards but that's not what a 75 is about, and personally I wouldn't want that anyway.

I have all three cars, and take it from me, the 1.8T is rolling compared to the others. And it has always been so.
So it is a softer sprung car, from the factory.
