Styria is situated at the foot of the Koralps at a height of 2150 meter. The region is also called the "Schilcher Region", the name refers to the wonderful color of the “Wildbacher” grape, which can develop its special taste here at the mineral rich and slate grounds.

Typical of the region is also a nutty oil extracted from pumpkin seeds; tastes very well with salad and egg dishes.
Is particularly squeezed and traded by farmers from the region.
Numerous picturesque and charming taverns ("Buschenschenken") invite you to taste the local food and wine.
