Default Cannot change starting volume

I have a radio/CD player CD413X fitted to my 2004 tourer. Whenever the unit comes on when starting the engine the radio reverts to a very low volume. I have read the manual looking for a way of adjusting the startup volume but there are no instructions on how to do this, Anyone now how to do this, it is very annoying.

Thanks David, This isn't in my booklet, I'll try it tomorrow. Radio looks a bit different.

Doesn't work on mine either, nothing on TA either. Seems there may be no adjustment on this model, it's c*** anyway

Yes I had a look on there, and went through the VDO manual in their link, NOTHING. I guess we are stuck with it. Strange thing is that their members set comes on too loud on startup, mine is too quiet ... odd!

Did you ever solve your problem? I have the same with the CD413X unit in my Rover 25/2005 Diesel.

PS Have tried same solutions given in this thread
