Default Replacement H/K speaker for tourer.

Having recently replaced the subwoofer speaker in my tourer I am left with a spare. I found it cheaper to buy 2 rather than one! The speaker is brand new and a direct replacement for the Harmon Kardon one in the rear right of the tourer. The only thing it needs is a small connecting lead to go from a 6.4mm Lucar connector to 4.8mm connector (I will supply that).

If your H/K subwoofer has seen better days this an excellent replacement.

This is the speaker:

I am after £25 plus postage or collect from South Wales.

Are these the same that are in the saloon subs?

No mate the ones in the saloon are 5" single coils (thats why there are 2) and the one in the tourer is 6.5" twin coil.

What's the sound like from this speaker? The sub in my tourer is blown (well and truly), so I'm looking at replacing.

Aside from the wiring connectors, I take it it's a straight swap? Thanks

Default Speaker

I found it a bit quieter than the HK one but better on the higher frequencies. My son is 20 and his verdict is it is a lot better and his ears are 40 years younger than mine! He has now grabbed this speaker for his new tourer so withdrawn from sale sorry!
