I was told I should resurrect this post, as to put on my new music, as it maybe easier to follow in the long run which is not a bad idea.
I have been releasing alot of new music recently and work on projects most nights. My youtube channel has really kicked off since I have started plugging it, and as I said before its still just for a bit of fun and is worth nothing to me, in a monetary type of sense, so it should be all ad free. (as we all hate ads on YouTube). I will still be posting the occasional song on the chill out forums from time to time (mainly the really good ones). My YouTube page is found by typing in "stuart w" into YouTube's search bar or you can go here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqr...0Dr6YH3km16Zxw My first major play list "purely sequential" is worth listening to if you haven't listened to my music before: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...0fBQ0jV2TaMLIR The second playlist is a week long project called "I hate metal", which is a collection rock type songs and light to heavy metal. Its called this because I don't like making metal and don't like listening to really heavy metal: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...qt1kbh3B3MA239 If a song gets to 100 views it will be put in a special playlist which will be put onto disk and eventually available as a album of those songs. Last time I went on to analytic's the account had over 1,300 views which when I put it up on the forum originally it only has 300 and was getting poor viewing, now its really taken off so I would like to say thank you to everyone for viewing and giving me confidence to carry on making music.

Thanks Wes all credit to Jimbo as he mentioned it before I did, although I thought about promoting Stuart's work a few days ago. I post on Vimeo as well as you tube. Like Jim, our videos are seen around the world. MG Rover meets seem to be popular in China, Alaska and the US, according to the stats I receive. Jim is doing really well with his videos and I admire his work immensely - we have many talented people on the forum

I'm happy for anyone to use my music as long as credit is given and links provided to the work involved (what I usually say on the blurb under each video). I have made music in the past for games and a few DVD menu's and am hoping to make a few more background style tracks in the near future. I made one a few years ago which someone used (about three months ago), but they didn't send the links and I was told by a friend that they had used it. I wasn't to annoyed but upset that the links to the video were not given and he didn't give any credit at all. Since I spoke to him he has updated the information and ended up with some views, to the track. (It was windows remix and he used it for the beginning of a self help presentation to help people that are new to windows to get there head round it. It was the beginning of this track: https://youtu.be/ddYW1dEXiCA I was honoured that he used it, but as I didn't have the link so I couldn't tell what it was being used for. But as I said I am all for any use of my music in any of your projects and as I said just give me a message of what song you like and I can send you a Wave or MP3 file via email and we can go from there. If you would like me to tailor a song specific to you video, show me it and I can compose something to fit the project. I make music most nights, get up early in the morning (that is when I process my work and get it up) so there are fresh tracks several times per week, so will continue to post up here at least three times per week. If I don't make a song one day, I may post up a legacy song, of which I have a collection of hundreds of tracks which I have made in the past, by myself, with other people and made in different parts of the country. Also some of it is live, using different software like pro-tools and cakewalk, so it is an interesting collection to say the least. But it is slow doing so as it is on an old laptop with a broken screen keyboard and with a failing hard disk so it is hard getting data off of it. So there is lots of material to pick from, some you may like, some you might not, but there is a little something here for everyone. I have made a few remixes of other songs in the past but I don't add them to my channel, as there is a risk of copyright infringement which I do not want to subject my channel to, as I have a good standing currently on youtube as all my pieces are original. Thank you again for listening and giving me more confidence to keep on producing music.

My new piece is here, it is a organ and piano piece which I composed and it is out earlier until I can get hold of decent speakers to mix it properly. But here is the early version: https://youtu.be/zSUDMJS0Mec Its is a ballad, with slight orchestral overtones. it is constantly evolving through out the song and gets more powerful, weaker, fruity and everything in-between. My second one is an experimental dance tune called waterfalls: https://youtu.be/Csfm7-Rr5qs This is the continuation to waterfalls called waterfalls tech which is a dance song using 80's soundset: https://youtu.be/4JY6KZizMLA I've added the two to a playlist here, I will be doing a complete mix of the two in the near future: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ZKWLeWUp5qLv4e Update! 7th Nov I'm now creating a massive mix of the waterfall songs and adding more to them as I'm going along. I've made it fourteen minutes long and has a lot of content and different synths and samples. I'm just in the process of mixing it down to put up on youtube. The mix is slightly different to the two songs i had put up before, so its still worth a listen if you have already heard the songs I launched yesterday. Cubase nearly crashed as I had about fifty tracks and synths going at the same time, with effects and EQ'ing. I will put it here when it eventually goes up. The video has about 50% left on it to go so will take maybe an hour to go up. Tomorrow I'm installing and playing around with a new synth called absynth which should improve my overall soundscapes, for my more darker tunes like dystopian peace and vangelis style tracks

I've done it , I've made a mix of a few different songs, but in a new style. This is a fourteen minute mega mix. This contains lots of different softsynths, real synths, old keyboards, re-recorded drum samples from my drum machines; which have been recorded on my Tascam and uploaded into cubase were I've edited, composed new sections and compiled this mix. All original samples, sequences and more. The mix starts off with the sound scape and dance song which I produced yesterday, I then mixed in sections of other material which I have made in the last month. The song is made to sit in between two songs in my major play list "purely sequential". Most of the material I composed years ago, mainly around 2007 to now, some have seen hundreds of renditions, so with all the versions under my belt and picking out good sections and recreating them with new technology. I have created this mix. Its mainly dance, electro, chill, trance and club music. It has quite an 80's sound to it in places. This is a experimental fusion track of many different styles so there is a bit for most people to like in one way or another. In this I mainly used a synth called vanguard which has many dance sounds and deep pads (electronic string sections), it also has a very powerful automatic pulse gate, which I can get amazing trance and dance anthem effects. I also used the Emulation of the Yamaha CS-80 again as its got proven 80-'s type sounds (picture at the bottom of the page) I also made custom effects for this including tape flanger, plate reverb and spring echo/reverb (from an old Hammond organ). The rest of the effects were from my Behringer SFX unit and vocoder (which I didn't get a chance to use on this song, but maybe in the future), I will post a link to a vocoder song at the bottom of the page, which was made by me and stars my voice. So enough waffling here is the song: https://youtu.be/Tm3C01DvjQ8 Here is the Vocoder song with me singing: https://youtu.be/1RocV0GKFwU Here is picture of the Yamaha CS-80 I use: I've decided to create a video of what I do to create a tune in cubase, but am still deciding how to do it.

8th November
I started the day by re-releasing the dance tune I put up last night editing the end and making myself happier that I had done a better job at it. This is called remember and it is been made and released for remembrance Sunday. It is a electronic chill out tune with lots of clarity and subtle effects: https://youtu.be/Uk_tzaJYnMM Later in the day I produced a small song which is partially experiential, tel me what you think because I'm not 100% sure on what genre or category to put it in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s170AhNIVN4 I also remastered my waterfalls mega mix, which is here: https://youtu.be/Tm3C01DvjQ8 I'm going to take a two to three day break next week while I can do some repairs and reprogramming of my studio equipment. Before I go I will post an older song of mine which I put up onto YouTube while my channel was still fresh off the frying pan, its called the spectra crawl , which I composed about my state of sleeping, (nightmares, sleep paralysis and insomnia, it starts of as a semi sleep sate being able to fly having a good time and then towards the end it turn into a nightmare of spiders: https://youtu.be/ctczoRLSBWU (if you want to go straight to the nightmare section here it is: https://youtu.be/ctczoRLSBWU?t=2m53s P.S: next week I am producing a song or soundtrack as it were dedicated to this here forum, tell me style you want it to be I will start a poll sometime in the next few days.
