Lol Tony, ageing is a wonderful process! Ivona does not currently seem to be available on play store so I'll do a Google search for it at some point this weekend and see if that can solve this problem.

Thanks again

Quite a R&D project among the club members, this one .
But still, referring to my post on this thread about two weeks ago: DTV.
Anyone with a working DTV unit on Navall Star? Settings? Anyone?

Hi Miha, I've not got my DTV working yet either, but have spent all my time trying to get TTS voices working before having another look at the DTV.

Hi Tony, I found a download for Ivona, but the head unit cannot fully install it as it was "not from the play store". A bit concerned about strange sites for downloads so will leave that one alone for now. Back to the drawing board for getting TTS voices working with Igo on my Naval Star.

Cheers

1) Very strange about the DVB-T unit, I had it workign fine on my Star unit, have you gone into the settings I am sure I had to change it to get the TV to work, as its been a year ago I really cannot remember what I changed it to!!!

2) When I down loaded Ivona from the Paystore is was a trial version, so they may have stopped offering as a trial thing.
I would then suggest SVOX, I am sure that worked OK with iGo on the Star unit but this is a pay version, but I think the voices were something like £1.29 I think I used Victoria voice which worked fine.

HI All

Regarding the Non working DTV's I just had a consult with Coolcat and we are really don't know whats happening. I have sent an urgent message to the factory tech to see if there is a known issue. We have several dozen out there and working but seems something has cropped up here .

I hope I can get it looked at before the Chinese new year

I have labelled it as Urgent. (and Puzzling)

Its on the radar

For Those having issues on Voice, I think the simplest is to download a clean , known to be working Navigation Program and Get the newest maps in the process. (Jan- 2017)

If you want that link , please contact me , Will send 2 links, one with the Program and 1 with the new Maps and instructions to add.

My email is [email protected]

thanks to all for the patience.

Just received my new TV tuner today and mine works well, better tuner and reception than my Navall 1 unit, I used the tuner from my Navall 3 on my star, but there was a suspected firmware issue and it was untuneable.
Many thanks Sean, great job, I will send old unit back asap.
