HGF Again - how many miles since your last repair ?

when you say she "Dumped all her Coolant" - i'm assuming you don't mean on the road ? i.e an external leak - rather, that she lost coolant internally, to the oil ?

had you had any warning signs prior to failure ?

Paul.

Not the end of the world even if it is HGF Bob, they tend to suffer if they have been left sitting once gone

I trust Mike Stafford to the moon and back. Served his apprenticeship with MG-Rover. Have spoken to Mike this evening and he has assured me that everything will be checked and checked again.

No coolant to be seen in header tank. Breakdown filled it up and lots of oil appeared.
No warning other than the heater suddenly running cold, temp gauge on red, engine over heated sign on info screen and the she cut out. I put my hazards on and coasted downhill till I found somewhere safe to park. The vehicle behind sensed there was something wrong and he put on his blue lights and kept me safe.

No worries there, the garage Bob uses has worked on all his cars, and Mike knows Banana like the back of his hand.plus the fact they are MGR specialists, the only thing Bob has to worry about will be the invoice.EEK!

She will be fixed Andy and once on the road. Looks as if I might sell the V8 and get something smaller. There is a forum member who has shown interest in the LOUD ONE.

Since last confirmed HGF we have covered 58,000 miles, roughly, I'll check once I'm home and in the warm.
