MG ZT Catalyst Bore Question
Hi All.
I looking for some help if possible, Ive purchased a New cat, and after looking at it, I think the bore looks to small for the 190 V6, Does anyone know if there are any differences, between the 160, 180 & 190 Catalyst? Thanks in advance

The V6/2.0 and 2.5 litre exhaust systems all have 60mm OD pipework, so I'd expect the catalysts to be the same bore.

MG ZT Catalyst Bore
There's been another recent thread on here about the exhaust bore on a 190 being 63mm but only 60mm on the less powerful versions. I do however have a copy of the original MGR press release announcing the launch of the ZT 180 automatic which specifically says that the 180 will share the same exhaust as the 190. That would seem to imply that other models have something different. I've had cat trouble in the past (I have a 180 auto) and would be interested to know the make and source of the one you've bought.

I'm hoping it fits,

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.
