Having been in a similar position myself, being first, I believe, to offer to buy a car and do a bank transfer for the full asking price, and then the car going to someone else, I understand the disappointment however the seller is free to sell their car to whoever they see fit. There's no substitute for being there and in a position to do the deal....just a ****** that sometimes geography gets in the way...
It's not worth getting het up about....there are bigger problems in life... ;-) |

I can't see where the seller says first come first to be offered, unless I've missed that in his post. As fas as I an see its ono, not first come.

It would have been a good project, but like marmite needs time and money spent on it. from what I can see the alloys need refurbed, it's got holes on both sides of front bumpers, replacement roof rails as the originals had holes from lights, repair on driver seat, no satnav unit, iffy parking sensors, and that's not including probably having to do the usual pcv, thermostat and other bits and pieces. |

Why start suddenly slagging the car off, now that its gone?
Eager Beaver to buy, and then it needs a lot of work once its gone. That's something I don't understand, and its not the first time Ive seen it on here. Let the new owner enjoy it. I have a lot of respect to the seller, who had agreed a deal with someone, regardless if it says first come first served or not. And stuck with it, even after having more money offered. |

Right gents, as the car is now sold, no more need for discussion on it
