Do you dispute the fact that YOU FAILED TO PAY THE AGREED DEPOSIT? No.

That's why you lost the car. Next time you make an agreement with a seller, best stick to the agreement to avoid disappointment eh?

Seller wanted £200 deposit, you agreed on £100 the obviously thought you'd just pay him £50 WHICH WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE SELLER AND REFUNDED.

All this bellyaching because you tried to be clever.....

Mate, If I DO need anything off you, I'll offer to pay you quarter of the price then bellyache when you won't sell it me.

Trust me, you may need my help one day; doesn't pay to burn bridges my friend...

you don't know the facts, but have all the answers, odd that.

were you party to the conversation when i rang the seller? oh no you weren't

funny how you know so much, yet yield so little

there is nothing clever, just an agreed sale with deposit, which was not honoured

maybe beyond your pay grade, but i am sure you have the answer here too

Don't need to answer really; the answers are all in this thread for all to see.

I just hope for your sake it doesn't adversely affect you chances of bagging another car off here......

This is ridiculous, Kenton, we agreed the sale on a deposit of £100, half of what I originally wanted, you failed to keep that part of the agreement without renegotiating or informing me of this, you didn't phone me to confirm receipt.
You are the one at fault here by not honouring our original agreement and not furnishing me with any explanation, like I've said before, this gave me very little confidence in the rest of the agreement being honoured.

WoW

You need to take a step back and relax mate.

So you have missed out on the car, move on and find the next one.

From what's been said I can see it from both sides. You must feel let down by the seller, on the other hand it seems like you did not keep your agreement in reference to the deposit amount.

As to asking the mods and powers that be to step in, that won't happen either

All this site does is provide the platform for the vehicle to be sold, any transaction between members is exactly that, between members. The green team can't really do anythjng to step in apart from a PM (maybe)

All of these posts can't do your reputation any good either Kenton I would have second thoughts about purchasing from someone who feels free to be rude to any member who even posts in this thread.

Ken, I would ask you to request that this thread is closed before he decides to be plain rude to any other member

(sits back and waits for a rant of a reply

I think some folk need to take a deep breath and calm down. We have had enough excitement on here already and don't need any more
