A bit of improvement from a while ago:

Now that's the view I remember - down in deepest Berkshire where the great God Corin labours on his mighty works, transforming base metals into gold (or black in this case, but hey, who's counting)!

Dear friends,

I have decided to get the grid alloys !

they have 2x Avon ZZ3 tyre with 4mm tread on them.

the others two I will provide new tires for.

Do you guys think I can keep the Avon's on? My concern is I prefer having new tyres so I know what they have been through, but these seem fine to me. Also, I don't drive much in the winter, so Im wondering wether I could keep these on for the few days I will be driving.

if you decide to keep the avons, see if you can get another pair to match them up.

i prefer to have the same make tyre round the car and i rotate them as necessary,i believe the same brand of tyre adds to the cars handling, they all grip in the same situation etc.

the tyres on these wheels for a named brand are not cheap, but a four wheel laser tracking will get the best life out of them.

when you get the wheels fitted post up a few pictures.

thanks for the info, will most likely look for same tires. He mentioned one is on 4mm tread and all others are on 6mm so may be a good bet.

what size centre cap do I need for the 18 inch grid alloys?
