Happened to me , some kids on a motorway bridge near Scunny, threw a brick hit my windscreen , i stopped the car and give chase on foot, when i got up to them they the oldestwas only about 7 and you can't hit a seven year old, but i asked them where they lived so i could tell there mum or dad, so i got back to the car pulled off the motorway got to the kids house where i was met by the kids mum screaming at me saying that i was some kind of pedo, then the kid's dad came out side giving the big i am, who said my son wouldn't do that , when i saw that he threw the brick, so by this time me thinking there is only me , and the street was getting full of there friends i got back in my car went down the street and called the police, when they got there after 30mins they asked me what i wanted them to do, they said that i would get anything from the family due to them being on benifits, and they are well know to the police, i told the police what would you have done if i had died, they smiled at me and said you haven't,

so at the end of this ,, late for work, and windscreen down and muddy shoes,

SCUM BREADS SCUM,

Stobby,

Sorry chum, I don't think so. It would teach them how to be really hard, really how to handle themselves in a tight spot, and get them fit. Given the raw material the Army would be working with, it would just turn them into violent thugs who could inflict the most awful damage on anyone who challenged them. And anyway, why should the state assume the duty of correctional behaviour that should be the responsibility of competent parents, competent teachers, and a competent justice system? Rant over.

A few years back there was a spate of 'people' hanging calor gas bottles from bridges.

Not good.

Well said Fred, we've got 6 cats and I agree with you whole heartedly, IMO the rot set in when the slipper and cane was stopped in school and the small bunch of dogooders jumped on the bandwagon. .
