Default driving response change - is this normal?

Hi Guys

Sometime back, a thread referred to the practice of "pumping" the accelerator 5 (or 20) times on key pos 2 to reset the system, when an over-revving query came up.

As I have been experiencing "hunting" by my rev counter at idle I thought I would try this, to see if there would be any improvement. When I started the car, the engine revved briefly, before settling down to about 800rpm. Seems fine

I always use the OBD (apol for incorrect term) facility to check the temperature on long journeys, and before my reset, the display would show approx 84-95deg. a little low by all accounts. Since the reset, the temp shows approx 88-101deg. and the car is just a little sluggish.

Is there any concern here, or is the car "learning" my driving style again? Any comments would be welcome.

Andy
