Bump on this for the weekend. Ideal early Christmas present, or winter garden ornament.

Nobody after this? Will need to break it up, or something, to get the money out of it, soon.

Fraser as you are aware I need a n/s rear door and now I need a n/s front wing so if you break that's a good fraction of car price

Nobody buy this plz

I'd like the bumper sticker too

Another bump, as it'd be good to get this away complete.

Just to clarify, MOT does not have to be at nearest MOT station but within reasonable distance of the owner. So buy a car 500 miles away, register as new owner, then have it driven to 490 miles to an MOT station within 10 miles of your home.

Correct about the insurance, but as I've posted elsewhere, the key is, new owner needs to register car, then it can be legitimately driven to new owners nearest MOT station. Fully compliant with current law.
Hope this helps...
A car can be driven to a pre-booked MOT testing station, there is no distance rule implicated during this process, and for what it is worth, if you examine your car insurance document very closely and read the small print, you're probably find it doesn't stipulate the vehicle needs a current MOT however it will stipulate that the car needs to be in a roadworthy condition,

Because you may well insure a vehicle that you do not wish to use for example dry storing a vehicle in a garage,
Mick

NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- I worked on police contract work for 30 years we impounded vehicles that guys were buying with no mot .They were taking the train to Aberdeen buying cars and booking mots then driving them back down south, many of the cars were never collected due to costs invoved, some paid the price of onward recovery, also if you are driving to a pre booked mot you are supposed to drive straight to the station with no deviations,so if driving hundreds of miles you could not stop for fuel rest periods toilet etc,you cant even drive a failed car to the motor factors to purchase the parts to repair for the retest, one of my mates got pulled for this tail end of last year,
