Mg ztt 190
Well it's happened
We have bought a Mr Sensible, bland box mobil with a view to replace my rather better looking, more exciting ZTT 190 so I've got to put it up for sale. The missus has told me that I have my car play thing (MX5) and we need something sensible and cheaper than the ZTT for our everyday car These are the only pictures I have at the moment (not long after I first got it). It's a lovely Trophy Blue with very good bodywork although there are a couple of imperfections, mainly the front bumper (note: the tow eye cover has been replaced since this picture). I had a new thermostat fitted (complete kit supplied by DMGRS), replaced the drivers seat for one that has only very minor wear, all the rest of the interior is pretty good but could do with a deep clean in my opinion. Drivers door card does pop off though and needs a whack back into place (not a biggy and an easy fix) I also added a dog guard parcel shelf. It has 5 x 18" straights all with nearly new Goodyear Runflat tyres! Passenger door solenoid replaced. Fuel pump recently replaced (2nd hand) + a new seal and "orange clip" added to fuel pump. There are three negatives; the coolant system contains K seal which I wanted to flush out. The heater does not work (could be associated with K seal, common problem anyway). And the big one and main reason for sale is that it will be needing a new clutch soon (quoted £425). There's a few niggles but I was enjoying getting through them. Once the clutch is done it will be a great car and I'm gutted that I cannot see the completion of this project through to the end. It's covered 97k and belts were done at 50k iirc. I'm asking just £450 |

Looks nice, and price seems fair to me. Guys on here tend to like lots of photos so it may help if you get some more angles and some interior shots uploaded.

Lot's of pictures taken!
This car is not far from being where it should be! Loads of potential and a clean base to start from. If it wasn't for the missus I would have happily carried on with it.... Few more here: http://s969.photobucket.com/user/tel...?sort=2&page=1 Last edited by Telsun; 17th January 2016 at 10:44.. |

Maybe it's the clutch that's putting people off,Mobutu at the price your asking it still seems like a good buy to me, given its condition. Good luck ,hope you get a buyer soon.

Perhaps. Get the clutch done and you've spent no more than £900. You'll have a cracking ZTT with a brand new clutch! (Still have a few niggles to sort but most do anyway )

Just so you guys know it does still drive and the clutch engages okay, just sometimes when you put your foot down it will slip. It's on it's way out but it's not gone yet.....
