Arjan_m's 75 1.8 mod topic
Hi everyone!
After six years of driving a diesel (some of you know her...), I had to sell it because the taxes for diesel are going sky-high over here (+/- 400 euro every 3 months) So last week I bought another 75, MidNhight Blue, but is a classic, so it has the cheapest cloth seats, and more plastic than other 75's (like the handbrake) But of course I started with some modifications, so the premium feel is coming back: When I bought it, this was how the inside looks: A Harmony radio without CD-changer, non-electric windows a the rear. Not that I mind that, but it feels a bit like a "naked" 75.... After spending some time on a scrapyard I found the following mod's 1. walnut/leather steering wheel 2. Original chrome door cappings 3. Chrome mirror caps 4. Gearknob walnut / leather 5. Leather Handbrake grip in stead of the plastic one Coming home I had some things from my diesel 75, so just went futher where I was started: 1. a PPD lighterr (for the purists.) 2. WinCE Head Unit. 3. Sandstone car mats in stead of black 4. MK2 airbag 5. NSF (left - LHD) grab handle 6. caps for the bolts of the seat belts
