Default CR213x with error message NO SRC

HI y'all
Got into my beast earlier in the week & went to listen to my CD (it is a boot loading version). Would not work. Returned an error message on the screen readout as NO SRC.
Does this mean that I have a loose connection or something more serious?

Could well be a loose connection somewhere. Check all obvious connections first then retry. Maybe also a lens-cleaning kit wouldn't go amiss to ensure no dirt inside the CD changer. If that doesn't work you might have to have a more in-depth search for loose connections (such as the rear of the headunit and any interconnections along the route towards the boot).

If all else fails do you have access to another CD Changer to try?

Cheers Simon.
I'll check the connections now that I am back from vacation.
However, has anyone seen this error message before?

Obviously, I am the first to experience this error message!
Never mind - it was worth a try!

Talking No SRC display

I have 'No SRC' display from my VDO CD413 on MG ZT 190 when selecting cd mode (after radio mode which is working fine, as is tape mode) from bottom (down) key on dash, after having to reposition whole black plastic front slider plate on rear 6 disc changer unit after it had come off!
Cannot open cassette from small grey release button either, also no noises from rear unit which I normally get when unit operating normally after inserting cassette - so unable to remove cassette which may even be jammed?
Checked 5A fuse not blown either!

HELP!!!!!

I ended up replacing the unit with one from Halfords!
