My favourite kind of photography, as already posted be careful of asbestos and other risks. A favourite for a while seemed to be removing handles from the inside of doors, you go in a room and the door closes but you can't get out. I've done quite a few but always go with somebody

Popped over to St Botolph's, abandoned church for a look around Tonight, it is one of the most haunted places in Lincolnshire and has security guards on Halloween to prevent Satanists from entering the building!
We did hear some strange noises, but decided that it was Dave Lincs belly groaning as he had just eaten a huge mixed grill

A fascinating hobby Andy. Have you managed to access any of the derelict nuclear bunkers?

Stallingborough Battery was built as part of the Humber estuary's coastal defence system. In February 1916 the coastal battery was equipped with two 6-inch breech-loading Mk. VII guns. The guns were removed in 1919 and the site abandoned in 1926. The battery was reused during the Second World War and fitted with a pair of 4.7-inch quick-firing guns and two searchlights for close defence. Stallingborough was disused sometime between 1943 and 1945.

Used to love a bit of Urbex but the whole thing got a little silly once the 28DL lot started nicking all the relics and selling on eBay.
Anyway, here's some of mine in a collection on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chantr...7624140536764/ |
