Lightbulb If planning a regional meet.....

Just a gentle reminder folks, that if you are planning a regional meet or gathering, could you consult the relevant Regional Secretary in your area to let them know, this helps to publicise your meet as the RS can raise awareness on your behalf, and more importantly, it helps to stop clashes with other meets in the area that may already be being planned.

One of the roles of the Regional Secretary is to be a point of contact and co-ordinator of meets and gatherings, and they can often flag up potential clashes etc if given fair warning.

Many thanks

Hi Reebs , I am probably guilty of this , when I posted about the Duxford Classic Car Show back in January I did look for a regional secretary in the Cambrideshire area but could not see one so I did the post anyway , then it dawned on me it would most likely comes under the East Anglia area by then it was to late so sorry about that , but it does seem to be proving to be popular as we have 18 cars hopefully going to be turning up on the day to fly the forum flag.....

No worries, just a thing to bear in mind for all really. The forums own Calendar is also a useful facility if kept up to date, to map out how the year is going.

Anyone, can create an entry, but again, its best if the RS's can be across what's happening in your neck of the woods

Does East Anglia have an and RS or is it headless like the East Midlands?

Reebs and the team, is there an easy to find list of the RSs anywhere?

Yes, go to the main forum index page

https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/index.php

and scroll down to the bottom, click View Forum Leaders form the brown border

and the Regional Secretaries are down the page

Alternatively, each regional forum has the name of it's RS listed in the events and meets section

Ok, that's easy once you know how.

Any chance those instructions could be stickied, to help those searching in future?

I've added a PS to my post above. Look at the Events and Meets section, and in each region there is a description of the area and the associated RS (If it has one).

As for a Sticky, we already have too many on the boards, so probably not I'm afraid.

Me too, but Stu and I have ironed out the misunderstanding behind the scenes

Yes, I did notice the names are there, but not obvious in the standard small text. Hey ho, can't have it all I guess.

Re the stickies, yes the board does seem to have a fair few in places.
