Default Kodi Box Owners Beware!

It looks like they are very serious about Kodi Boxes.
I have spoke out before about "pirate" illegal viewing, 20 million users is a lot of lost revenue for these companies, although if everyone of them gave up their
boxes I doubt very much that my subscription would reduce any.

Heading is a typo...sorry.

If sky, virgin arc didn't charge so much for repeats people wouldn't need them. It's just sheer greed from the media providers. Year on year they put the prices but you see the same program repeated several times a day and even sometimes they show the same program for a week! My dad often sits with his tv off and plays games on his tablet because sky is just showing repeats and he pays over £100 a month!

I totaly agree with you.It is the money grabbing media moguls who are charging extorionate amounts for rubbish programes..i would have no problem in using a modified box.

Not got one myself, but the 3 people I know who have are less than impressed with them. They think the quality of some stuff is terrible even though it's supposed to be in hd, and stuff they want isn't available. It's true about the tv providers though. On virgin, you can find an episode of NCIS at any time on any day. And Sky should rename themselves the Simpsons, they play that so much.

Still, it beats having to talk to the wife! (That was a joke, by the way).

Eh?

Really?

People need these television channels do they?

So if my local butchers charges too much for steak it's okay for me to steal it is it?

Do I think sky & virgin & BTsport overcharge? - of course I do. Do I think it's okay to steal from them because they're overpricing their customers? Umm. Nope, and I have literally no way to reconcile that argument

Ok maybe need wasn't the best choice of word, but I never was known for my word choices. People get what I'm saying though so that's all that really matters.

I suppose the TV Giants will say if all the pirates played fair we could lower the prices, I have never known that to happen in my past 70 years of life.
Theft is wrong, even a pencil or rubber band from from work and no amount of arguments will make it right.
I enjoy my Sky TV, it is on all day while I am either in and out of the lounge
or sat here at the computer. I set (in my mind) programs for daytime viewing, programs for early evening on the sofa with surround sound action blasting and then the type of programs for watching in bed. All in all that makes a lot of viewing hours and I can honestly say that for the past couple of years I have had no problem finding new content, admitted a lot of what I watch is recorded mainly in the hours I am in the land of nod.
I suppose you get what you pay for or not (quality wise) free=mainly crappy
Ken.
