Default mg-rover info website

just noticed my 75 is down as been made with the paint code JEL
in fact it was made in JBH as taken off the vin plate.
so I take it when it says this was the 33rd in this paint code to come off the line
this also must be wrong .
as JEL was Cowley built and JBH was made in Longbridge.

Same for mine, PM Reebs, he has more accurate build data I think it's just the wrong code, everything else matches

with mine its only the paint that seems to be wrong.
but that makes it been a Oxford made car and not made in Birmingham.

It's just a mis-print if your car is definately JBH, as mine is If your car was Cowley, it would have black sills Most Cowley cars did.

Just been looking at my car's data, and I must admit I felt rather emotional, when you actually see the details of build times down to the second, you can't help but think of the group of people who worked to actually build this beautiful car, it is a very strange feeling, the things that went through their mind whilst doing the work, their conversations, I just thing is so important to build things, to be seen to achieve is so important.
It is shameful that we make next to nothing in this country anymore.
