Default Removing bird lime marks

Hi

My wife parked her Focus at her mum's place yesterday and it seems to have been dumped on by several vultures/eagles/pterodactyls

I washed it just (less than 24 hrs later) and the paint already has dull marks in it (car is black) Any tips for restoring? Is it already too late?

Help!

Try claying it. You can get a clay kit by Meguirs; available from Halfords.

Failing that, try a mildly abrasive polish - Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.

If that fails you may need something a bit more abrasive - but cross that bridge if you come to it.

As has already been said - that might need a quick machine polish to knock the marks back.

Autoglym do a really good product IMHO:

Bird Poo Remover

They come in little sachets and look like baby wipes...
