Well Derek sounds like you have one taker for a trip to Cosford on the Sunday at least perhaps Julien will join you and other like minded people, I,m only there for one night so will have to be another year unless they chose Cosford for a National this year

[QUOTE=windrush;1899383]Thanks Derek for explaining everything. It certainly makes for a fascinating and enjoyable visit. I wonder if anyone else is interested in visiting. Sadly I won't be able to make it the Haynes Museum, as I shall have to return to Africa. Not to worry, we will be visiting the North Yorkshire contingent at The Lion August / September

RAF Cosford
As Derek has explained, there is far to much to see in our time allowed at Cosford, not to be unsociable Dawn and myself are not prepared to travel 40 miles further North and then having to drive all the way home later on in the day. As to the National in May I shall be going away on a weeks fishing jolly, so will be missing that one. We hope to meet some new faces and put names to them in April hopefully the weather will be kind to us. As too our local group we will see you all at The Ely in February. Julien |

Maybe the gurus would consider a National Meet at the Royal Naval museum Pompey which to those not familair with naval terminology means Portsmouth, it has a wealth of artefacts from our glorious past as well of historic vessels and has 295 parking space and overflow parking nearby scoff/food is also available on site so a contender I think but up to other members of course
