A new car owner may want to chat to it's ex owner, but I doubt the reverse is true very often..

If they were glad to be rid, they wont want to chat. If they miss the car, and maybe regret the sale of it, again, they wont want to be reminded..

Could always try to buy it back for a lot less

I didn't want to get rid of the 75 but I wanted my ZT more. Couldn't keep both Would be good to see it again for memory sake.

Sandbanks hotel by any chance? I haven't been to Sandbanks for a long time even though it's 5 minutes drive down the road. You should try some of the Purbeck areas (if you haven't already) on the otherside of the chain ferry. Most enjoyable.

Hi! you local lads

I must say what a beautiful area we live in down here in Sunny Bournmouth and Poole, I'm from Wimborne and the family and I are always down at Sandbanks through the summer (such a beautiful place).

I've said this before about visiting Poole and Sandbanks, there are so so many Rover 75's and ZT's in this area (especially Sandbanks) just driving through Bournemouth / Poole on a Saturday / Sunday afternoon, will see a dozen or so of our beauties.................... also many a local garage will always have one or two for sale on their four-court......

Cant believe I've not seen you guys at some point, but we most probably have......

My best friend (also a Paul) still lives in Edgehill Road, just up the road from where you got on. Brother Gordon went to Winton Secondry (I was at East Howe). Shell Bay was fantastic (they´ve dredged all the sand away now) Fantastic childhood even if we didn´t have 2 ha´pennies to rub together. Used to fish off the pier and -beach cast- into the surf in the winters. Bass and flounders (still got the fishing reel) I´m a late 1952 so all this was from about mid 50´s till 68 when I went into the army. We probably beat you´re lot at football and cricket

We could have a little meet in the summer, Wimborne market or at one of the nice pubs at Longham. The -Exeter- is no more as I understand (great boozer so my brother has told me)

Yes i did the Sandbanks Hotel from 1993 to the present day, love it, please don't tell anybody else, more room for me.

We leave home at 5am to get down for breakfast, brilliant way to start a holiday.
