Yamaha XVS 1100 V-Star Motorcycle **SOLD**

2008 Yamaha XVS 1100 V-Star Classic.

Very low mileage, only just over 11,800 miles.

Full years MOT with no advisories.

Imported from the USA Feb 2011 & apart from the importers name on the log book, I am the first UK owner.

In very good condition.

In factory Raven Black with Ghost Flames for the USA market.

Serviced by the bike shop & stamped in service book when I bought it at 7,787 miles & then yearly by myself at less than 2,000 miles interval's. The last service I done was less than 500 miles ago & included new front & rear metzeler me888 marathon ultra tyres that are still like new & rear brake pads.

I have added a Vance & Hines exhaust that sounds superb, I also have the original exhaust which is in very good condition.

Other extra's I have fitted is a large screen, chrome saddle bag retainers, chrome front fender bar, chrome rear rack, leather Held saddle bags, a 12 volt power supply for sat nav etc.

The rear rack is easily removed to put the original passenger seat back on, the screen can be removed within a few minutes as well, so can all be put back to original in not much time at all.

The photos show the bike with & without the extras on. The first few photos are very recent, the others are a bit older.

This is a very reluctant sale but due to arthritis in my shoulder, elbow & wrist, sadly after 37 years of owning bikes for I am giving up riding bikes. The sale of my bike will go towards funding a paint job on my new toy, a Classic Cadillac.

Didn't woek for me.
Have you asked about hydrocortisone injection in the affected joints & non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID)?
I am in your boat but am still able to ride due to my suggestions above.

Well the bike sold within 25 minutes of being on eBay to a dealer in Bournemouth. This will be the first time in many years that I have not had a bike.

To be honest apart from my dodgy elbow, shoulder, wrist & back, when I took the bike for its MOT, it was the first time that I really did not enjoy riding it. What with pothole after pothole & the bad driving standards of what seem's like a good quarter of people now, I just though that after 37 years of accident free biking its time to give up before either the rubbish road's or some idiot driver on their phone gets you.
