What a great idea

But..............I'm having the unit delivered to my works address, damm!!

I hope they don't try and deliver it Wednesday because we're closed and no one there.

Kind of hope it may arrive tommorow then I have Wednesday to play

If so I'll post some pictures up as I go.

Default dumb question...

i dont think this has been asked before but the thread is soooo long it may have.
If i do the usb mod,,,and add a bluetooth usb dongle (would think drivers are there as i can stream music to the entertaiment side from my phone) can i then bluetooth tmc data to the nav board/program?...or will pairing be a problem and will i need a wince 5 bluetooth manager...anyone any ideas..its above my head im afraid..but i really need tmc and will try anything..

Don't forget that the GPS and multimedia are two separate entities on these units. So unfortunately BT will not function without additional work on WinCE.

Mmmmmm thats a shame. Crazy to think the tmc info is there via RDS yet cant be acessed for the nav program...Some one with talent needed to get the tmc data to the right place.....

A more mundane question. What type of cable should I use to extend the radio aerial for this unit?
Or, bearing in mind that the existing car aerial appears pretty poor to start with, should I consider an alternative?
