Default My thoughts...

Seen some pictures and I'm afraid I am not a fan. To me, an MG should be a light and sporty car like an MGF or LE, or something along the lines of the original Magnette. The ZR, ZS and ZT were also the real deal.

Unlike Porsche and now Jaguar, I'm not sure this sort of vehicle can be justified on account of the profits made by an SUV being used to fund the development of sports cars- because there aren't any!

It is yet another "Me too" product with nothing at a glance to distinguish it from the crowd.

If I had to have a car like that I'd have a Ford Kuga or a VW Tiguan!

These are just my thoughts and opinions though.

I suppose they have to sell what sells. And suv type sell by the truckload.

Had a look round one the interior is rather nasty in places but it may find a market with people looking for a cheap suv. Sadly it looks like there will be no assembly at Longbridge so not sure where that leaves the people who work there.
