Default Static caravan transport

Does anyone have an idea of cost to transport a static caravan approximately 2/3 miles.
Nothing to do with me, just a family member.

Hi rich really depends on if you can find someone local also is the van ready to move or will it need decommisioning and un- siteing first?..
If the van is a straight forward load up then unload at the other end without any faffing around and you can find a local company then I would say around £250 as it's not far so may get away without escort etc
As I'm retired now I don't have up to date pricing but from memory the last move I organised was a straight forward load at Weymouth then delivery to Gatwick area (150 miles) the cost was £1000..

Cheers Ian

Get a quote first as you may need things like tyres/wheels because if the van is an older model they will probably be rusted out or perished.
The contents would need to be packed and removed etc etc.
We used to charge £300 to unsite a van ready for transport of course that may be more if you need it moved from it's pitch with a 4 x 4 and it's not a job that I would recommend as a DIY I've know arms and legs to be broken when things go wrong.
Cheers Ian
