Default Navall 3 steering wheel controls - how do I wire them in?

Hi
My car originally came with a Kenwood head unit with IR steering wheel controls. I upgraded that to a Win CE Navall and cut a couple of wires (blue and black) to wire the SWC to the Win CE device. A

I've now upgraded to a Navall 3 but I'm not clear on what to connect to what. Pictures attached. The connector block you can see with black and blue wires is what I'm expecting to connect to the Navall 3.

Any advice please?

Presuming the red connector on the Navall 3 has been cut off?
You would connect the same two wires from the car that your WinCe steering wheel wires were connected (looks like the terminal block in your photo) to.

The Orange bare wire and black bare wire from the Navall3 loom into the terminal strip, doesn't matter which way round

That's it Jeff - thanks!

Next problem the internal microphone seems to be not working - if I phone someone they can't hear a word I'm saying - and that's with me shouting. Can't see an option for microphone in settings... unless I'm missing it.

There is a setting for switching 'on' external mic and this from memory would switch the internal mic off.

Can't remember off hand where the setting is without having a unit in front of me though....It is in there somewhere though

Can't find any settings for microphones anywhere
Must be missing something obvious.

Edit: Ah, seems to be a software bug.
