Default Time to move on....

Today I sold my lovely Firefrost Red MGZT CDTi +135 after over five years of faultless service. It has gone to a good home, someone who posts regularly here who is a true enthusiast.
This brings to an end 26 years of unbroken ownership of various MG Rover cars. A sad day.
I hope to stay in touch here and trust that this thread which I started on 31st January 2011 will continue in my absence. It has been a real pleasure being part of this club and the forum has been invaluable in supporting ownership of my cars. Thanks to everyone and all the very best!

Please still pop on and visit us all

I have finally got the missing pipes and washer jets for my Contemporary sorted today from Tom Force, I also fitted my wind deflectors to it, just in case anyone thought the 2.5 was getting neglected! Will take my bits and bobs to a Nano later to get some help taking the bumper off to fit them with my new fogs.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, doing some touch up on Bones, fitting new pollen filter as the old one is black and soggy, and then fitting new front number plate!

Collected the car from the garage after getting the belts done and a few other bits and pieces. Now have considerably lighter pockets. But she seems to be running well and will hopefully keep her running for a good while.

A genuine pleasure to meet you again Richard, and honestly, a privilege to take over the mantle with your beloved ZT. I normally buy projects and have fun getting them as close to factory perfect as I can, but your car has been so cherished that I'll have my work cut out just keeping it as good as it is. (alacantra seats with no bolster wear - how is that even possible?)

That photo came out really well, normally there's a giant thumb somewhere when I'm doing the clicking - all the best with your new car

I saw Richard's car a couple of years ago, and it was stunning. Health to enjoy Gerard!

Another light restoration job.
Started on a set of Xenon's, one done one half done.

Into this:

It's currently just covered in primer while I wait for my stone chip and paint to turn up so that I can finish the job.
