Default MGs IN THE PARK 2016 - 19th JUNE

MGs IN THE PARK 2016

Sunday 19th June
Cotswold Wildlife Park OX18 4JP
Initially, it was with some frustration that we heard the news that the MG Car Club were to hold ‘MG Live’ on the very weekend that Oxfordshire MG Owners Club have traditionally held their ever popular ‘MGs IN THE PARK’ event.

So, what to do? Our first thoughts were to keep to the 5th of June, put up with the clash of dates and whatever may result.

However, it soon became apparent that many people enjoy both of these special events and that if we were to move ‘MGs IN THE PARK’ to a more suitable date, it would mean that MG enthusiasts would have the opportunity to attend both major MG shows if they chose to do so.

We do feel that our Cotswold Wildlife Park venue for ‘MGs IN THE PARK’ provides an fabulous and ever changing attraction for MG enthusiasts and their families and we would hate to have our MG friends missing out on our ever popular location and event.

Oxfordshire MGOC hope to be able to welcome you to MGs IN THE PARK on the 19th of June.

This is not an owner club meet and they do,not accept responsibility for,it

Thanks, Rob, for the 'heads up' on this.
I have just put notification of the event on this forum.
We had a bit of a problem with a clash of dates and had to await confirmation of our new date.

The 19th of June is the date confirmed.

Please note that the event is covered by liability insurance arranged by the MG Owners Club while the Wildlife Park cover all other liability outside of the event but within the Park boundary.

No liability cover is arranged for the 25 mile Cotswold Run in the afternoon of the event as the normal rules of the road apply and individual's insurance is in force.

fingers crossed never let us down yet

Just to clarify the Rover 75 entry issue raised . As previous years Rover 75 Vehicles are allowed in FOC with discounted payment for passengers.

Remember you MUST put an owners club flyer on dashboard so park staff understand you are allowed into the meet.
Type in club flyer in search you can download and print.
