Default Win CE 6.0 Damaged GPS Slot

One of the members popped down to see me last night as his Sat Nav was not working on his Win CE 6.0 Unit, tried a couple of cards and it was not seeing the Memory card, ok on mine, but would not see the card on his only the internal memory, tried a hard reset, and still nothing, so think his card reader if fubar.

However this has got me thinking, and maybe Jeff or Sean can help, but can you put a micro USB into the micro usb slot and then put the micro sd card in the micro usb reader that to pick up the IGO software ?

The reader is one of these

Many thanks in advance

Hi Stu

If I understand , you basically want to use the USB as the GPS Program Source?
In a word , No
the GPS Chip is designed to read from the GPS reader
I am not 100% sure if we have a reader in Clacton , And also depends on the version

Is it one of ours?

Sean

Hi Sean,

I have spoken to the owner on the phone and asked him to try and clear the cache and if that fails to get in contact .

We don't have any card readers here I'm afraid so would need to get one if it needs replacing .
