Default One for the MG3 owners

How are you finding day to day life with an MG3 and what's the reliability and dealer network like?

Miriam has had it for a month now.
She loves driving it and prefers it over her old Astra.
I'm sure others may disagree however that is what she says

I would suggest that if you are looking for a small hatchback, your money would be better placed with a Korean car rather than Chinese one. Better warranties, Dealers and residual values.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the op has specifically asked for opinions from MG 3 owners.

Apologies, just trying to save the OP some money, I will refrain from commenting further.

So what do you drive?? Reliant Regal 750? Too many comments and no real facts. Look at the butt of all the jokes...... Skoda, just about all the European car companies wanted them when the velvet revolution happened. Live with an MG3 for 6 months before knocking them.

I've been a Hyundai 'Master tech' for the last 16 years and so the new i10 was high on the list. It is however quite expensive to buy and with the added insurance for a learner driver it's mounting up quick. An Aygo or C1 is considerable cheaper but my Son quite likes the MG. Being in the trade and not being able to repair the car whilst under warranty is a big thing for me as I've found with my daughters Paceman. When there's a fault and I know there's a fault it's quite frustrating to be told it's 'normal' Our nearest MG dealer is 40 miles away and for this to work after an initial road test etc I need to know how any issues may be dealt with if I can't sort myself. Looking online there isn't much info as there aren't thousands out there. The idea behind the post is that I know there are a few owners on here

I've never driven an MG3 but heard nothing but praise from owners and they do look like a good buy if you intend keeping the vehicle for a while. Just wish they'd add more dealers as your dealer which is 40 miles from you would be my nearest one too and you know where I live
