Bailey Vendee Series 5 Caravan for sale
Bailey Vendee Series 5
This has been owned from new and used very occassionally for just weekends and is in excellent condition. It features a fixed end bed that does not have the corner cut off therefore you do not need one of your legs amputating. At the front the seating is ‘L’ shaped therefore making it far easier to use and also giving a far greater feeling of space. The kitchen area features enough workspace to make the preparation of meals easy. It also features a large fridge, four burner hob, oven and grill. The washroom has a circular shower cubicle and an electric flush WC. There is plenty of storage space, including under the bed which is also accessible via an external hatch. There is a spare wheel fitted within the chassis which has never been used. The carpets are loose fit. A radio/CD player has been fitted as has a remote control DVD player. These have been fitted in the panel where the clock was and therefore do not use any space that would have been usable. The original panel and clock will come with the caravan. There is an external aerial for the radio and also an external TV point and fittings to mount an external aerial. The aerial to suit the mounting will be supplied. A mini-Heki has been fitted above the bed replacing the original opaque vent making it look brighter. For safe towing an Al-ko AKS 2004 stabiliser is fitted. The van has never had an awning fitted to it so the rails have not been subjected to the forces that awnings can cause which often leads to leaks. The bodywork is in excellent condition. The van has only ever been used for weekends. The reason for sale is that we now have a holiday home in France and whilst the van has only ever been used occasionally, last year we spent two weekends away in it. This year once so far with the diary indicating that we do not have another free weekend for quite a while. Therefore, we have come to the sad conclusion to sell the van and buy another one when we retire – that will probably be another Bailey, this is our 3rd new Bailey so you can see we like them. We are located a couple of miles from the Gatwick turnoff of the M23 so easy to reach. Price £8,250 Paul |

I will put up some pictures at the weekend.
It was registered in 2004 and is the 2005 model. For 2005 the model was upgraded to the Series 5 which this is. We had an original 2003 Vendee and changed to the Series 5 because of the improvements. We found the Vendee to be an ideal layout. It is a 4 berth caravan. At the rear is a fixed bed that goes across the caravan and, unlike some fixed bed vans, the mattress is rectangular - others have a corner cut off. The seating at the front is L shaped which is far easier to get in and out of than the normal parallel seating. This makes up in to a bed. The fridge is a very good size which includes a freezer compartment. There is a 4 burner hob and a reasonable sized oven - whilst it would not take a large turkey it certainly easily took a turkey crown and all the other bits and pieces when we had an Xmas away in it. The under bed storage spce is massive and is also accessible from the outside. The locker at the front is spacious with provision for two gas bottles. Anyone familiar with caravan and the Whale water pumps that drop in to the water barrel will know that if ever the barrel runs out of water that the pump fails. The caravan now has an inboard pump fitted that does not fail if the water runs out. The shower is perfectly adequate for showering in. It is a plastic enclosure - the original Vendee merely used the wallboards as the sides. It has an electric flush cassette WC - anyone unfamiliar with these, they are extremely easy to empty. If anyone wishes to have a look yo are more than welcome - it is in excellent condition, and the van would provide superb accommodation for holidays and in the dry and warm especially if you normally holiday under canvas. Additional Info:
Bed Sizes Front Saloon 6'8" x 4'4" Rear Double 6'3" x 4'6" There is a door that can be drawn across the rear double. Therefore, dependent upon childrens ages and sex they could sleep at the rear with the door across leaving the parent (or grandparents) to enjoy the rest of the caravan including access to the shower and WC I will post pictures but if anyone would like a pdf of the brochure emailed to them let me know.
