Default Apple Power MAC G3

Having a small clearout .. Got a couple of these for anyone interested.

Just the Clear/Turquoise base units with CDrom and Zip drive installed.

No HD . not a MAC person myself , so its all alien to me , units left over when my son cleared off.

But powered 1 up so far and it boots and sits showing me a folder with a face on it ??.

other than that .. Pass..

£25 quids for both anyone ???

would be best as they are heavy .. or whatever the post is .

Chris

PS.. Going up to the Birmingham raceway for my belated Xmas Prezzy on the 15th August . so might?? be able to arrange a meet somewhere not to far ,( as will have the family onboard ..)

History: Sporting an all new translucent "easy-open" case design (code named "El-Capitan"), the new G3 was the first Apple model to support FireWire, Apple's new high-speed serial standard. It was also the first professional model to include USB, although it also came with a legacy ADB port for backwards compatibility. In a controversial move, Apple chose not to include standard serial ports, a floppy drive, or on-board SCSI (Apple instead chose Ultra ATA). An internal Zip was available, however, as were SCSI expansion cards. The G3 was available in a number of configurations, starting at $1599 U.S., and rounding out near $5000 U.S. for the fully loaded server configuration. In late April, the line was speed-bumped by 50 MHz, bringing the high-end model to 450 MHz.

Amiga's not sure .. but I think I've got about 10 1200 and 600's,some HD versions, and about 1500 amiga floppies , along with around 10-12 Spectrums of various flavours and boxes of cassettes''

Don't ask .. well I used to pick up odds at booties , check/repair them and flog off complete setups on fleabay, but they've gone off the boil a bit lately, plus got other things to do. at the mo ..

Been told by SWMBO to have clear out so just geting a few PC bits on Ebay to get a sight of the Ammys .. so a couple of nice all in one printers going cheap.

Well then let me me know… I'd be interested in an A1200HD in working order.
