Afternoon all, No sun but thick cloud & boy is it muggy. I'm sweating doing nowt.

Strange thing on all my desktop PC's the colour changes & passwords for this site have disappeared! I've had to re-set the different colour I use for this site & passwords but no other site is affected!

It's not that hacker chappy is it!

The window cleaner has just been & he says we've got a Bees nest up in the attic, he said there are swarms going in & out, I tried to look up but my neck has been giving me real gip lately & it's as if I've been spun around & lose my balance if I try to look up!

I do hope Derek is OK, It's been a while since he's been on.

Hopefully your answer is here Ian

Update on the antifreeze fiasco. I've just had a message from the seller (Car Parts For Less, part of ECP) do I want a refund or replacement . . . . opted for replacement, haven't found a 5 litre antifreeze concentrate for less but what happened to the original

Had a wasp's nest in one of the bushes in the front garden last year. The wife asked me to trim it one day . . . . like hell!

Cheers Steve I missed that I've just been doing some reading up about another little niggle with this latest Firefox browser! My Yandex email notifier no longer notifies me when I have incoming mail, apparently it's something to do with the latest Firefox browser not supporting NPAPI plug ins including Java.

I use Linux almost exclusively so I guess more reading to see if there's a workaround....That Linux geek forum usually goes straight over my head

You get everything set up just the way you want it & then they go changing things.

Blimey it'll be Winter before you get that anti freeze Steve.

Yeah I'm not going anywhere near it if I can help it, if there's a problem I'll call the council & see if they can help!

I once had a wasp nest in the ground under the hedges years ago, we had a Jack Russell at the time & she got badly stung by them so I tried to shift the nest, it involved petrol & a few whiskys & burning privets LOL

When Pops was younger she had a thing about bees and wasps. Came tearing into the house screaming one day, straight to her "safe place" behind the sofa. I went out and there was a bee in its death throws on the path. She's left them well alone since.

Personally I hate wasps, years ago I had the dogs out (Doberman and Jack Russel at the time) and they must have disturbed a nest. I suddenly found myself surrounded by a cloud of wasps. I legged it, the dogs thought it was a game and followed. By the time I got back to the house I had been stung about six times.

Watched a couple of old ('70s) but great films the last couple of days, "That'll Be The Day" and "Stardust" both with David Essex. They were on a few days ago, recorded them.

Have to agree with you Freddie, the lack of Derek is getting a bit concerning

Cheers Ian, Jeff sent his live invitation out, but the net here was too restricted
to join him. He was treating his mum, I guess to special happy birthday still nothing back about Derek.

The water in the photo is actually very cold to get into, the med has not yet warmed up even though it's been 27-30C today in the sun. Interestingly the beach picked up with more ladies than men on it. Maybe the men were back home, drinking beers and snorting coke whilst watching Donald Trump visiting the Pope
