It's never ending at present Steve, they both look like they've been in the wars lately.

The hotpot was superb the missus said she wants a salad while it's hot muggy weather I think I'll be freezing some of it

Whatever our politicians and security services do, both behind the scenes and undercover, it will never be possible to prevent most of these types of attacks I fear.

To try and end on a slightly brighter note, we're now safely ensconced in our caravan site home for the next couple of weeks, a few miles down the road from Torquay. We had a sunny journey from home to Gloucester on Saturday afternoon/evening - a good night's sleep in the caravan at the Motorway Services (best I've seen in this country - the fried breakfast this morning was suoerb) - and then a rather damp last 130 miles to Devon toda\y. I'll post some pictures up when I get the chance - there's free wifi on the site - but the speed is only around 2 mbps

Glad to hear you got there safe & sound Rod. We've had a few showers rolling through this afternoon, It's gone really warm now but theres a yellow weather warning out for tomorrow here, heavy rain expected to last into Tuesday.

Thanks Ian - it's a lovely night down here - but tomorrow's forecast is foul - and that's putting it mildly

We are all set up, a nice sunny journey, but we have had some rain since our arrival

Traffic around Henley was a nightmare,it took 1 hour and a half to travel the last 4 miles

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
