any advice on cooling system flush 75 1.8, have product from STP

Follow the instructions on the bottle, when refilling the engine, watch out for airlocks, the 1.8 can be a pig to bleed.

If you can, remove the pipes from the heater matrix where they join the engine and backflush using a hosepipe, the matrix can hold a lot of crud.

thank you very much for advice will have a look, see what i can find amongst all those pipes, not as straight forward as some have suggested.
