I'm assuming your CDTi already has a fuel burning heater (box of tricks sitting right in front of the battery). If not, it gets a lot more difficult & expensive.

If you have this, it is a simple matter (judging by the instruction book) to add a remote kit (with no separate wired timer). The one here is the T100 HTM which comes with the remote, control box, aerial, cabin temperature sensor and looms to connect it all together and to (I am assuming) an existing FBH loom on the vehicle.



This loom has a branch which plugs into.....

...The 1533 Timer kit - This kit only includes the timer and mounting kit. It needs a loom with the right connector to plug into, which would come as part of a 'remote' kit such as the T80 or the T100 HTM I have for sale (see above).
