Typhoon Saloon reduced to £1995 **SOLD**
Not sure where to start really and I will probably forget some things but here goes,
I bought the car last year from an old gentleman who wanted rid of it as it was 'ticking' from cold. I sorted that problem out with two oil changes in quick succession and she ran as smooth as silk. At the same time I changed the lower engine mount with a powerflex bush. The old one was shot. Then on the way down to Plymouth to visit the in laws the car showed signs of overheating so it was recovered back to my house. I took it to Horners in swinton and they diagnosed HGF. £1200 later and that was all fixed, at the same time the belts and tensioners, water pump etc were done and It's just passed it's MOT today so all is good. It is running faultlessly now as I have invested a lot of time and money in this car getting it right. it is important to me to keep these cars on the road being enjoyed by enthusiasts of the marque. One thing I will say is the wheels will need some attention to bring them up to perfect condition. I think with the colour taken into account and the condition, mileage (56,000 approx) I would like £2500 but equally it is very important to me that it goes to a good home. If your interested please feel free to come and have a poke around or just pop in for a brew and a chat, everyone is welcome at my house. If I've missed anything let me know and I will do my best to answer your questions. ***NOW £1995*** Kind Regards Tony Last edited by Duotone; 24th March 2014 at 20:43.. |
