Slight rattle when pulling off in 1st
Hi,
As per the title... I get a very slight rattle when pulling off in 1st gear. Only in 1st gear though no others. Any ideas? Car is going for a service next monday so would be nice to know so I can have it fixed. Thanks |

Unless there's a loose exhaust shield or cover, I'd plump for the lower mount beginning to go

I have just replaced mine and it made quite a difference.I managed to buy a 2nd hand one from Parts Gateway online. Its virtually brand new and cost me £25 inc p+p.
Took 45mins to fit and noticed the difference right away. Ray |

Found a used one described as in "good condition" for £30 inc delivery
What would people advise - new at £50 or used at £30? |

Personally, I'd always fit new.....I prefer to do the job once, but if moneys a bit tight then go second hand

I bought 2nd hand due to the fact i very rarely get the chance to drive my car due to work commitments.I have owned my ZT for 8wks and only done 200 miles. So therefore the 2nd hand unit should last quite a while.
