Rover 75 2001 2.5V6 ABS Pump Part Number

Hi All,

I wonder if someone can kindly help. I have a Rover 75 2001 2.5V6. My ABS pump is faulty. My car has traction control, cruise control etc so the pump has the ‘ML’ code on it I’m told by the garage. Does anyone know the Pump Part Number I need? Unfortunately, the garage has put the car back together so I can’t get my part number now.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The Rimmer Bros website lists them by the MG Rover part number, SRB101xxx.

Last I heard, the ABS modules for cars with traction control were hard to find, I don't know if this is still the case. You might be better off sending it repair if you can manage without the car for a week or so. There's several specialist companies out there like https://www.actronics.co.uk/abs-ecu

Rimmer Bros say the traction control ABS is no longer stocked and ACTRONICS will only work directly with trade. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

In which case can you ask your garage to order one from them?

2nd suggestion
The part you need was SRB 101300 superseeded by SRB 101301.
Here's a used example for sale.

But just taking a step back for a moment, are you sure that you have the correct diagnosis? ABS modulator faults are very rare. What are the symptoms?

Many thanks for the suggestions.

The faults are;

Traction Control off in message centre.
Amber ABS warning light on.

Then more recently, Red Brake Fault coming up in message centre followed by the brake warning light staying on.

TOAF reports;
0E - valve-relay Error
1F - wheel sensor rear right
0E - pump error

Someone on here suggested taking the rear pads and discs off and cleaning the dust around the ABS sensor which I had done. I also had both rear ABS sensors replaced and finally I had the connector removed from the ABS modulator which appeared greasy and cleaned with contact cleaner.

Any further suggestions please?
