Smile Anyone had this problem?

Is there anyone that might be able to help, I recently purchased a chinese lcd gps and overall its quite good

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT

But for some reason I cant get the steering wheel controls working for the volume.
Im pretty sure that there is one or two members here that have purchased the same unit, did any of you guys have the same problem?
Is there extra cables i need to have installed, all the connections are correct but it dont work..Murphys Law again
Can anyone help!
Cheers Alf
