Default cd changer

could someone help me please I have the contemporary se with the factory fitted cd player my cd changer is in the boot it will eject the cartridge and load cartridge but will not come up inside car as says no cd even tried cd in cd player that plays but will not recognise the cd changer is there something I am missing any help would be appreciated only had car a week.

have you checked all the connections between the changer and head unit ?

If you have a radio head unit as opposed to the hi line system then the

cd changer is connected to the back of the radio via a blue mini iso plug.

Most likely your cd changer is faulty.

You can remove the changer and take the cover off and check for dust/dirt on the laser.
